Create New Employee

To create a new employee, go to Resource Management>Employee. Under the employee grid header click on New Employees

The employee details has four tabs: Employee, Hire Information, Kiosk Information and Data Restrictions. When creating a new employee, you will start under the Employee tab. In which the following fields will be available. Any field with an * is required. Any field with an   Icon is customizable to your business. This fields can later be modified by an administrator and they are available under the Administration options.

Employee Number: This is your employee reference; you would have it match the reference from your payroll system if needed. If there is no accounting system, you will be able to leave this empty.

Language Preference: This is customizable. If Spanish is selected, any work orders will be automatically translated on any email notifications for this employee.

Demographic: This refers to the time zone where the employee is set up. When creating a new demographic you will be prompted to select a time zone.

Role Name: This is also customizable under the administration tab. The Role will determine the Commission Percent Rate. The system will allow you to have two different commission rates: one for Jobs and one for Work orders for each role.

Crew Name: This is also customizable; you will assign a preferred crew to each employee if desired.

The second tab under the employee details is Hire Information. Pricing Class and Employee Status Information are both required and Customizable.

Pricing Class: Under pricing class you will setup hourly wage, payroll tax, overhead percent, burden rate and miscellaneous overhead percent.  You can make modifications in the Administration tab later if needed.

Employee Status Information: Examples are Part Time Non-exempt, Full Time exempt.

The third tab for employee information is Kiosk Information. This tab will need to be filled out when using CC Kiosk to track time of your employees

 

 

The last tab for employee feature is “Data Restrictions.” When you select a specific Branch, the employee access in CC Cloud will be limited to the accounts setup for the Branch selected. For more information, look into the Branch feature.
